70th Anniversary Whisky As part of Section UK’s 70th Anniversary in 2020 , Ewan McIlwraith of Robertson’s of Pitlochry, was approached to produce a single malt whisky for sale to IPA members. He was happy to do so and the Benriach 23 year old, Cask Strength, Single Malt was produced. Ewan has been a very good friend to the IPA, and continues to support us with Whisky and Gin tastings, giving a generous discount to members who partake in these tastings. Unfortunately the Covid pandemic meant that the vast majority of Section UK celebratory events were cancelled, and the opportunity to promote the whisky disappeared overnight. 280 numbered bottles came from the cask and 200 have been sold. There are 80 bottles still available. The whisky can be purchased via Robertsons of Pitlochry website * at £105 per bottle , which is excellent value for this quality whisky. Ewan will post it directly to you. Currently a 21 year old Benriach is retailing for £136.90 and a 25 year old costs £274.99, so the IPA bottle is a bargain. SOLD OUT
