Foody frolics in Region 2 Brian Kennedy , Region 2

“Something I constantly feel guilty about is not taking enough opportunities to explore my own city and experience what a tourist would see”. Recently we addressed that need by organising a Taste Tour. Twenty-eight of us from all over Northern Ireland gathered at City Hall and met our guide who would go on to take us out on a walking tour of five different eating and drinking experiences in the city. These venues offered a wide variety of nibbling and sipping activities, from Young Buck cheese, a variation on Stilton, produced locally, to an amazing Irish whiskey and apple syrup cocktail, to the most decadent, thick and creamy cup of hot chocolate I have ever had.

Northamptonshire Remembers Brian Dale , Chairman - Northamptonshire Northamptonshire Branch had their coffee morning at The Aviator, Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton. Our members observed a two minutes silence in memory of the servicemen and women lost to the two world wars.
